I ordered the chip sear for my 1100 v star but before it was shipped I traded  for the 1300. I made 1 quick call to PCS, got it changed without any problems. I got the new bike on a Tuesday put a couple hundred miles on it, Friday my new seat arrived, immediately installed it and took off. All I can say about it is "AWESOME" the more I ride the better I like It.

Thanks PCS

I bought the Monster Pro pipes and they look and sound awesome.  They gave the bike a lot more power - and they are much louder than my stock pipes.  I'm constantly getting a lot of attention because of them.  I highly recommend these pipes!

I purchased the triple X cams, fcr 39 flat slides, potato chip seat, and some other odds and ends. My bike runs awesome!!! It is so much fun to ride. I have people ride it that cannot believe the power it puts out. Now I have added some other performance parts like the Dyna 3000 and the cobra pro hp 2 to 1, but man all this stuff works. It took me and  my brother a while to get it dialed in but now that it is, amazing.

I would recommend PCS products any day. And Greg with PCS was a great help, very knowledgeable about everything and spent a lot of time with me on the phone answering my questions and brainstorming on some of the issues I was having.

Here is a quick video I shot before adding the Dyna 3000 and adjusting the pilot jets. Believe it or not my bike would do 110 in total before the mods in 5th and it took forever to get there, in 4th I am hitting 105 and it's hitting the limiter at 6250RPM where I have it set. Unbelievable. :)  Future mods is the monster race 2 to 1 header that will get rid of the 90 elbow on the number one cylinder.

And to be clear I did not do pistons, I am running stock pistons.

Again these were before it was totally tuned, went one clip richer on needles and about a turn and a half richer on pilots and am not running TPS at all.

Got the Curburners and the jet kit....two words HOLY %$#^. If you want something totally different than what everyone else has and a complete head turner these are the pipes for you....LOUD and deep. These are aggressive pipes so if you are just looking to make a little noise they probably aren't for you, but if you want to make a statement...these are sweet

Installed your new seats for my bike and I am REALLY happy with them! Great fit and finish and the comfort is FAR greater than stock. My wife and I took a 200 mile test ride (each way) and  butt ache is now history!

Best part is that they retain the stock appearance and that is one of the main reasons we bought our bike. The best part is the low price for the seat set! You just can't beat it! Thank you for you excellent service.

Before buying your seat for my star 1300, I looked at other seats from different companies out there in the market and have been eyeing your seat for a long time. Finally I decided to give it a try. I received your "original tour" seat yesterday and it looks amazing, looks professionally finished too. I sat on my stock seat and compared it to your seat and I must say that the PCS seat is way more comfortable. You sit in the seat rather than on top of the stock seat which is very uncomfortable for your lower back and especially on those long rides. Thanks again to PCS. I will be telling other riders about your great product and great customer service.

I bought the pro r hypercharger and monster pro exhaust and pcs jet kit, went 2 sizes up in jets, it was over xmas, but was ordered just in time for me to get the goods to my mechanic to install before going on holidays, and wow I'm setting car alarms off in car parks and getting second and third looks from everyone! Including harley riders. I recommend a ais removal kit and if you are as far away as I am get the extra baffles, as this pipe is attention seeking. P.s I'm saving .3 to .4 of a liter per 100kms with I'd say 20% more power.

I have the regular seat with studs, the Pacific Coast seat is much more comfortable, I can ride longer with no pain, the seating position is a bite lower which is nice, it feels like a little forward also but not much, when I got it and took it out of the box it looked like a brand new seat.

For the price this was a good buy and worthwhile doing!

I was on Facebook and your company name popped up on the side, so I quickly exited from there and looked you up. I have been Googling and looking for an exclusive company that has stuff for Star Motorcycles. I was in awe that you guys have everything I want to put on my bike and blow the Harleys out on the road even more! O ya Baby! My bike is pure stock right now. Lol! Soon it won't be!! The 'Potato chip' seat: I just came back from a 1900 mile run from Vallejo, CA to Forks, WA  and back again. Thinking I should use the touring seat, I decided to put the 'Chip' & the passenger pillion through its paces. I'm thrilled to report this seat is more comfortable than any seat I  had or have now. I could put on way more miles & my wife was a lot more comfortable also. The black ostrich adds so much class to the look of the bike. Style & comfort. I  have it all.

Good job Pacific Coast star!!

Hello PCS,

Why did I wait so Long? Just received my new classic seat for my ride. Wow, it not only looks great but rides like a dream. On the old stock seat, after 30-40 minutes I started to feel back pain. Rode my ride for 2 hours with your new seat. It was a whole new experience in riding....no pain...no stiffness. Way to go PCS! Thanks for a great product. With the money saved by not purchasing a product made elsewhere, I can now shop around for new pipes.

I've waited to email and let you know how much I liked my seat, till I was sure.  Guys,.. you have it down to a science!!  I'm a BIG guy and I rode 100 - 150 miles the first few trips and when I got off to get gas, I wasn't crippled in my lower back and butt.

I then tackled the Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, & 350 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! I was able to enjoy a road trip that I couldn't have before I got my seat.

Comfortable and looks GREAT

thanks again

First impression unimpressed w/quality. I was wrong. I got the Thugstar pipes w/CeramiKrome, baffle and chrome tip. Sounds great  looks great but you need to get the air plug off(AIS) kit. Slight backfiring on deceleration. My V-STAR 1100 sounds much bigger and badder than it actually is. Get them you'll be glad you did.

I Just had to give my input on the lowering kit for my Roadliner.  I have to say I was a little unsure about getting this installed, but after just a few miles with it, I just love it.  Improved my cornering handling and maneuvering  around in parking lots ( I'm a short rider). For those out there who are thinking about it, go for it.  Just one negative would be if you have long pipes your leaning angle is going to get shorter. Your pipes may scrape.

Lowered my bike with the lowering kit and it couldn't have been easier.  The instructions were easy to follow, The hardest part of the process was breaking the bolts loose. The bike does not bottom out even though I  dropped it 2 and a quarter inches.

If you have been thinking about  lowering your bike than this kit is it. Go Ahead and do it, You know you want to.

Just got the Potato Chip, Lowering Kit, and Forward Control Extenders.

WOW! Can't believe the difference this stuff made, my ride height is now 25", my balance is SOOOOO much better, and with my feet moved forward I feel like I'm riding my recliner down the highway.  Seat is very comfortable, infinitely better than stock despite the thin profile. I'm 6'1" and 225 lbs, but there is still plenty of cushion. The forward controls were easy to install, took maybe 20 minutes.  The lowering kit was a little more difficult, but with a Sears bike lift or similar it shouldn't take you more than an hour or so. I am not too handy with a wrench, I don't even change my own oil, but I got them installed with minimal headaches.  All in all I'd say I am more than thrilled with the products I purchased and recommend them and Pacific Coast Star to anyone looking for quality affordable accessories.

After getting my license last Labor Day weekend and riding a 2003 Suzuki 650 Savage for 4 months, I was ready for a bigger bike.  My husband insisted that I should go with a V-Star 950 which I bought at the beginning of June 2010.  A week later we headed for for a 5 day 1300+ mile trip.  I'm only 4'11", the bike was way too high for me and 3 times in 3 days I dumped it - I HATED the bike and really had second thoughts about buying it.

If I was ever going to ride it again, I was either going to have to get 'lifts' on my boots, get 'ghost wheels', or try to find a seat that would put me closer to the ground.  I am so glad that I found PCS's website and after checking out my options, I was really happy to see that they offered a lowering kit.  I thought I'd try it prior to sinking money into a seat and I am so glad I did.  My husband spent about 20 minutes installing it and I cannot believe the difference.  Just 2-1/4" lower made such a huge difference!  I'm now able to sit with my feet flat on the ground and it's amazing to feel how much better the center of gravity is.

I have much more confidence and now instead of being nervous about the thought of stopping, I'm comfortable and pretty proud to be a woman biker.  Thanks to PCS, I  no longer have regrets about buying my V-Star 950.

Was hard installing lowering kit and the RC components wheel at the same time, but, WOW I can't say enough how great the ride is even lowered 2 1/4 " it rides better than the stock I even have it set at the lowest tension setting and it does not bottom out. I rode over every bad bump I could find. Install can be done at home with a lift, a torque wrench and basic tools but you have to have a suspension shop change the spring on the shock for you. I did it with a friend in my garage, but I was also swapping in a new rim for the first time so you can probably cut 2 hours off that because I was new to the work.

The Ride Is Way Better Than Stock.

Believe it!!

Well, I bought a lot of stuff from PCS so here is a breakdown of it all,  First and foremost, I purchased the monster power package #1. Installed it and HOLY (You know what)!! What a phenomenal package. Power is INCREDIBLE! It runs very well, starts very well even in cold weather, and still gets high 40's for MPG. (Need a few more long runs to get an exact figure) Everything was of the highest quality and included new gaskets as well. The Monster Pro pipe sounds great and it looks pretty good too.

Second I purchased the 6 Degree triple trees, front and rear progressive springs. I was a bit concerned after calculating the new trail numbers, but put it on and tried it, I retained the stock forks as they get lengthened 1.5" with the kit, it's a whole new bike. It used to take some muscle to get it to corner, now you just think corner and it reacts. NO high speed wobble or any unstable feeling, even right to the end of the needle. FANTASTIC handling. The springs make it actually ride without bottoming out, they improved cornering at least 2x as I am not dragging the pegs instantly due to bagged out suspension.

Third I purchased a bunch of other items, pullback risers with tach (fantastic quality and brought the bars into my reach just perfectly). Remote oil filter kit (a necessity with one piece pipes).

Lastly my very favorite part of it all..... PCS "spiked" forward controls. Words can not do these justice, the pics on the website can not do them justice. They are made with unbelievable quality, the chrome is perfect, the thickness is unreal and the look is so awesome I wanted to mount them on my shop wall !!! But I installed them instead ! They are completely adjustable, although that is not mentioned in the instructions (good note here PCS guys, explain and detail the adjustability of these units) I just decided to disassemble them and found that they have infinite adjustability. These controls looked so good that I HAD to buy the matching handlebar spiked grips with rubber inserts to match. And as usual they were higher quality than even I was expecting.

All in all..... Fantastic products and fair pricing from PCS. I have and will recommend you to anyone who checks out my ride. THANKS for making my V-Star better than I ever thought it could be.

Hi Guys,

Just want to thank you for hookin' me up with some great products. I couldn't have asked for any better outcome. The combination 10.6/1 pistons and the Triple X2 cams really turned that little 1100 into a Beast!

The Speedometer could have used a few more marks on it!  Results, 40'+ black rubber on the pavement. The new progressive springs front and back make taking curves effortless at far faster speeds than previous, no more dive/bounce from centrifugal forces when you started to push it a little.

Thanks!

30 minutes later and 2" lower in the back. Love it. Only trouble was getting the top bolt out. Not a problem once you take off the little swing arm guard that is attached to the inner right side of the swing arm (8mm bolt) just in line with the upper ploate bolt. Since the arm is now raised 1 - 2", the little guard is no longer needed. Also, go ahead before starting the process by putting the rear tire on a 2 x 6 or two so when your jack is released...there is enough clearance for the jack to be removed.(unless you have a true 0 profile motorcycle jack). Il love the new look but it was for her footing. Either reason it looks great and is very functional.

Thanks for working with me on my seat. The stock Yamaha seat has been reasonable, but I knew more comfort was to be had. I tried the Chip seat which was fabulous around town. I have a 32" inseam. A ride to and from Santa Barbara convinced me to try the regular PCS custom seat. The first six times I sat on it while riding, the seat was more comfortable each time I sat on it. Now I'm ready for long-haul riding. The cost? Ridiculously low. The look? Best-ever. I'm in the midst of installing the PCS Chrome stock wheel conversion. The beauty of these wheels is not to be believed until they are received. I also added a riser tach to the bike and couldn't be happier with its looks and performance. I'd advise everyone who has a V-Star to look to PCS first. Lastly, I received the PCS forward controls kit. Beats the heck out of the competition which I had to return for multiple problems. Not so with the PCS.

Hello,
I just wanted to drop a quick note concerning the seat you provided for my Road Star. I've been on a couple fairly long rides since receiving it and my rear end is very happy now. I don't get that numb feeling after the first 50 miles. You have a very happy customer. I'll spread the word about Pacific Coast Star to all who are looking for an alternative to $800 seats.

Well...  I received the new seat on Tuesday, during a rather intense rain storm - With life as a grown up interfering with my druthers, I wasn't able to go for a long ride until today. With my butt planted firmly on my new seat (and my Sweetie off to film school) I made the dash to Cannon Beach and back (250+ miles) without trouble--

Damn nice seat guys! Thanks (oh and expect some referrals from me)

Just received my new potato chip seat last week and don’t ever let anyone tell you different – potato chips ARE good for your butt!!!  Together with the PCS rear lowering kit, my bike is slammed to the ground.  The seat has totally changed the attitude and appearance of my Star and the ride and build quality of the seat is superb, not to mention the fantastic price.  Have patience once you place your order and rest assured it is worth the wait.  Don’t wait, however, any longer… if you’re thinking about a new seat for your Star, order it from PCS!!!

I apologize that I don't remember who I talked to when I ordered the potato chip seat for my wife's 1100 v star but he talked to me for a while and answered all my questions, Thank You! I will be returning the core or old seat, please keep up the quality work and service.

I purchased the Monster Package Full Kit 1, 10.6 to 1 Compression Pistons, 39 mm Flat Side Keihin carbs, Monster pipes, etc. All I can say is WHEW and HOLD ON!  The horse power doubled. My dyno sheet says it all.  But the proof is in the throttle.  If you're thinking about buying another bike, DON'T.  After everything got dialed in the results have been incredible.  Heads are turning all the time when they hear me coming and watch me go bye bye!

I also ordered new custom wheels and tires, 18 x 5 rear and 19 front.  I can't wait to get other must haves, tank, rake kit etc from PCS.  The bike is HOT!  I get the once over from all the custom chopper and drag bike owners.  Harley owners eat my dust!!  It's all true...BELIEVE IT.....the guys at PCS are top shelf!

When I bought my V-Star last year the one thing that really stood out at me was how high the rear suspension sat.  When the bike was on its side stand you could actually see the tread on the top of the rear tire from the side...far too high for my approval!  The price of the lowering kit almost seemed too cheap to be good but after reading all the positive reviews I went ahead and ordered one.  Wow, what an amazing difference it makes!  The bike sits like I always thought it should and looks awesome.  The kit was very easy to install, took me about 25 minutes.  The ride is just as comfortable as before.  Hats off to PCS for making a great product at a great price!

I did a lot of research on seats and couldn't believe how expensive they can be, but then I came across the PCS website, read the testimonials, the unbeatable return policy (return after a week with no questions asked) not to mention the LOW PRICE and just had to try purchasing a seat from them. I opted for the potato chip seat and lowering kit, I now know what people mean by riding in the bike as oppose to on top of the bike, definitely more control and stability. Thanks guys for making affordable custom seats. I already have in mind what I will be purchasing in the future from you guys.

They saw it on your web site and now then can see the real thing!

Hope to do business again, Don.

Dear Cary and Greg:

I can't express how happy I am about how our project turned out. I took out my bike yesterday and while I was fueling it up a guy next to me started complementing the workmanship and looks of my bike.

When I stared this venture back in September I was only going to get a chip in my paint job repaired but it took on a life of its own and began its journey to what it is today. I know I made a few wrong turns by dealing with (XXX) because I just did not know any better but I kept looking at your web site and took the chance that I could deal with your company and that was the best decision I could have ever made.  I appreciate all the hard work and effort that you gentlemen put into your business and your ethics. I know that when I needed  your creative vision or support during the build that I could turn to PCS and you were there.

I will ride my bike with pride and wear my PCS tee shirts as a testament of your company's great products and support system. Someday I would like to bring out my bike and meet you guys face to face and shake your hands and  tell you that PCS is the greatest.

I sincerely wish you the best and can see by your actions that your company will grow by leaps and bounds. I will be here to sing your praises and support PCS as best I can.

Sincerely

Mark Loftis

Cary & Greg,
I purchased the #1 Monster Package and the
Ultimate Slam Kit and I am totally impressed. You guys are the greatest for support and your products live up to what you say they do. I have practically doubled my horsepower and anyone who is anti Japanese bike is having a change of heart. My friends find it difficult to believe an 1100cc bike can be transformed into a scream machine. Thanks guys, I am loving the rush!!!!!!!

The pipes are great. They sound wicked.  I would buy these again, and will, more than likely, sell a few sets of these to friends. The guys at the Yamaha shop loved them and wanted to know how to get them for themselves. I love the fact that I am the only person around here with the Monster Pro Pipes. Thanks.

Well, it all started a few years ago when I first bought my bike. I was totally in the dark about just how much was available for aftermarket accessories. That was until I found PCS's website and spent hours drooling over the custom bikes on their website. Over time I was able to make one of my own to include their chip seat, polished rotor, front and rear fenders, stretched tank, and their Monster Pipe. I couldn't have done it without the always available help and reassurance of both Cary and Greg!! I can't count number of times we had talked and the advice was much appreciated!! My highlight was when I had the opportunity to meet them at a bike show in Las Vegas and to see their work in person. You couldn't ask for two nicer guys to do business with. They have always exceeded my expectations. Keep up the great work and I hope to meet up with you guys again soon!!

Bought my bike new and have put almost 18,000 miles on it in the last 2 years. The first two weeks were the most fun until this last week. I ordered a new Progressive Rear Spring from PCS and installed it last weekend. Words can't convey how much nicer my bike handles and rides. My wife who rides on the back pad (bun cruncher) says it's the BEST money I've spent on my bike. I've tried a few bikes here with the 1,000 pound springs on them and I'll take this one ANY day of the week. Very soft yet totally controlled ride with or without a passenger. I've tried to bottom out and have yet to get that job done. I've also not been able to get the nerve up high enough to scrape my floorboards like I could before. No squat in the corners it just plain flat GOES !! Thanks again PCS for a great product and super service.

Hi Cary, Greg, Potential customers,

Got my Monster Pro Pipe and lowering kit the other day, (shipping took awhile but apparently pipes were out of stock, no biggie) and wow, that's all I can say. This pipe totally makes my bike feel brand new, plenty of new found power and a sound that is definitely the envy of all the metric riders around my neighborhood! Installed the pipe and lowering kit myself took less than an afternoon with out too much hassle. Now the bike LOOKS and SOUNDS phenomenal! I will be doing more business with PCS in the future.

I ordered the Ultimate slam kit for my Vstar Classic. Being the impatient person that I am, I couldn't wait to get my stuff and put it on. When It finally came, it was well worth the wait!!

My Star looks SICK!!!! And it even feels better as far as handling and turning.

The stock seats on Yamahas suck. A word of advice, be patient, let these guys make a seat for you, and you will not be disappointed!!!

Installed the "Monster Kit" myself with a little help over the phone from Greg. Everything was straight forward & fit just right. I was very satisfied with the performance gains. This bike hauls now especially in mid to top end, Now that there actually is a top end. I am impressed with the customer service, it can be rather difficult to get parts ordered over the phone to actually make there way to Canada. Greg also hooked me up with a back rim & 200mm tire, which fits the look of my bike really well. Thanks Guys.

Never mind seats, let’s talk performance. The "Monster Kit" rocks. You won't believe the gains. I was able to install all of the parts myself with a little coaching over the phone fro Greg & referencing the service manual. I had the Yamaha dealership dial in the carbs. All I can say is wow, hang on & try not to smile to hard.

Recently purchased the "regular" seat. Much better than the factory seat. Flat level seating verses the butt numbing hump of the factory seat. Plus really finishes out the look of a great low, long, and lean ride. Great job guys.... with the great Texas weather I spend alot of time in the saddle.

I thought I'd add to your testimonials to say that I flew from Hawaii to your shop in June, 2004, and you truly are good to your customers; and I really am pleased with my stainless steel spokes and hubs and the other goodies.
My bike is already slammed to the ground
and your Monster Pro Pipes are unbelievable. I have had 4 friends who are H-D salesmen who say that if they didn't know better they would think they were listening to "the best sounding Harley-Davidson they have ever heard".
Also, I have been riding Harley's for 43 years - I have never been more pleased with a bike than my Yamaha.

Just wanted you to know we got the install of the pipe all finished along with an air kit and carb jets and we are VERY happy. Bike runs GREAT and for all the hype, the pipe isn't that damn loud. We had Cobra slip-ons installed on stock head pipes before, and THEY were LOUD. Monster Pro is VERY mellow going down the road and the torque differences are incredible. When she does drop down a gear and hammers on it, it sounds like an angry hornet, VERY cool.

We stopped at the local Yamaha dealer and a guy came out and got to talking about the pipes. Before long every salesman there was out asking about it.

Thanks for a great product.

Art and Michelle Armfield

I heard from a friend about PCS and I thought I would check it out. After seeing the black monster pro pipes I couldn't stop thinking how they would look on my bike. I looked everywhere at different black pipes and nothing compared. I finally purchased them. I received them in about a week or so and when I installed them (I'm a first timer), the directions were very specific and went on without a hitch. After everything was put together the moment of truth was there. I expected to hear a sound that was a little better than before and then I started it and a prehistoric monster was born. These pipes made my bike a top fuel dragster. I could not be more pleased with my purchase and plan on returning to PCS for future purchases. Everyone asks me about my bike and now the elderly hate me... this makes me so happy. Thanks PCS

You know...When I got the Roadstar, I rode it like everyone else and said to myself, what the hell is up with that seat?!? And, why are the handlebars SO far forward? I'm 6' tall and not a small dude by anyone's measure. I got wind of PCS and had 'em put on the Chip. My God. What a difference. Lower, better control, better look, you name it.

I've thrown a bunch of chrome on the bike and have finally just dropped off the bike at their shop for new bars, braided lines, chromage and a few other things. They need to keep my scooter for a few weeks and you know what, as bad as I'm jonesin' to have it back already (just dropped it off last night), I don't have a problem with them hanging on to it. I know it's in good hands. These guys gave me a good price and have always given me great service with a handshake.

Highly recommended to all, no reservations. You just don't find people like this too often, let alone in the automotive/cycling industry. Give 'em support and business guys, they got it comin'.

Ride well bros.

The last few weeks I can't describe the good feelings I've gotten from turning my motorcycle from stock into a true custom. After looking around trying to find lowering kits for my bike I checked out the Swedish sight www.yamahacustomclub.se and found that a guy had ordered a lowering kit from PCS. The price was right so I ordered a kit. 10 day's later the mail came, and last Thursday I entered the garage and replaced the "dogbones". I can't use words to tell how surprised I got when I saw the result! The whole bike changed before my eyes and it got "complete". With the dragbarhandle, pullback raisers, supertrapp exhaust system (modified), the bike went from ‘almost finished’ to ‘finished’. The comments from other biker's was: That's a nice bike!! and, eye's almost popped out. Thank You for fast shipping and a price that's right and most important, a product that really makes my bike look the way I want. Best regards from Sweden!

IT'S ALL TRUE!!!!

Went down to pcs, and got the slam deal (lowering kit, potato chip seat)!!!!!!!!!. The kit slammed the seat height down a couple inches (about 5) which was perfect for me. I’m glad I chose the pcs lowering kit and the seat looks and feels great.

The custom bikes they got on the site looked even better in the shop! thx pcs!!!

I have had my "Original" PCS seat for about a month on my V-star 1100 Custom. It gets me closer to the ground, and it is way comfortable. I usually do a 200 or so mile trip every week with a guy who has the "chip" seat on his V-Star 1100 Classic. Same story from him, no complaints.

Thanks guys,

WOW.... I ordered the forward controls on Monday, and they arrived Friday, AWESOME. It took a little over an hour to remove the old set, put the new forward controls on, and have them adjusted. Installation was a breeze, adjusting them to fit me took the longest but that is personal preference. They look GREAT, the lines flow with the bike, and they look and feel sturdier than the originals. They were about a $100 dollars less than anybody else I found. I can't even describe how much more comfortable it is moving my feet 4 inches forward. I makes me feel like I'm more one with my bike.

Thanks Pacific Coast Star.

I just want to start off and say that PCS customer service is excellent. I had a miscommunication and my seat did not get ordered when they said it did. Cary wrote me an e-mail and we had it straightened out in now time. Not too many companies like to take the blame but he did. Anyway the seat has been on the bike for 2 years and 20,000 miles all I can say is awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I can ride for hours and with the OEM after about 100 miles I was sore, and you cannot beat the price. I would highly recommend the seat to any one. I got the Original.

I just installed the Monster Pro Pipes in place of Jardine Rumblers on my 1100. I love the pipes. Sound is much deeper at idle and at speed. Two friends have 1100's - 1 with Cobra, the other HK - both full pipes. The PCS pipes sound is deeper than both at idle and at speed. When you factor in the performance gains you can FEEL (especially with an Air kit), you can't go wrong with the pipes.

Thanks PCS for another great product and your usual great service.

I just had to drop a not to say what an exceptional product you folks have. I started out by purchasing your lowering kit for my V Star 1100 Classic, and man, what a huge difference it made. I then had to purchase your Potato Chip seat and what an even bigger difference that made. It gave my bike the exact look I as looking for. I placed my order for the seat on a Sunday evening and had my new seat on my bike by Thursday afternoon. I couldn't be happier. And I forgot to mention that the lowering kit took me a total of 45 minutes to install. Thanks again for making my bike the bike I had always imagined.

Hi Carey and Gregg,

I just wanted to say that the Chip seat is awesome! It gives the bike a much more custom look, the way it follows the frame and fender lines. Of course, the lowering kit adds to the look as well. Where to start? I initially ordered the Ultimate Slam kit and an AIS kit in February, and had them installed the day I got them - WOW what a difference! I swear I sit 4 inches lower than stock. (of course I had to shovel snow to get the bike into the garage from the shed, so I couldn't ride it yet - arghhhh!)

Then I decided spring was a ways off and went ahead and ordered the air cleaner and had Greg and Cary Chrome it for me as well.

The bike is now together, the snow is gone (almost) and I've had her out on the road again. I can't believe the difference in the feel of riding now with the chip seat and lowering kit. And the look of that DPM air cleaner is fantastic! Thanks again guys for your wonderful and fast service, as well as a great product!

I was skeptical at first -- how can a seat which cost a fraction of the competition's be as good as the competition -- I said NO WAY possible! That was until I sat down on one of your seats. I immediately said YES WAY possible! All I can say is that PCS may not have the brand name of Corbin or Mustang or LePera and all those other brands - remember this, let your butt do the judging and you will soon realize that the PCS seat is as good as any of the others mentioned (plus you save mucho $$$ for the chrome goodies).

The cool thing about the guys is that they know how to wrench and they know their Yamahas. For me it was worth the 200+ miles round trip to get there and back. The advice and work (fixed most(?)of the things the dealer screwed up on) they did for me was worth my time. In fact, I hope to see you guys soon. By the way, PCS sells more than just seats -- this website does not do justice for all the other goodies they sell. SoCal riders, make the trip to Dana Point and do yourself and your bike a favor. I'm sure glad I did.

The "Original Seat" is AWESOME. (Like everyone else has stated).
I have the seat rail on my bike and I just have to say that this seat is THE BEST match for this Seat Rail. The curves and match up are exactly the same. Better than stock. The Corbin Boulevard seat does not work at all.

I just road 600 miles in the past 2 days and I have to say my butt is not aching at all!

Mt. Baldy & A Coastal Sunset Cruz-z-z!

Early one July morning, the San Diego Star Club met for a group ride up to Mt. Baldy. It's about a 300 mile round trip if you follow the coast line back.

First, all the members had to gather round my bike and comment about how way cool and/or wicked the 'Warrior' looked. And, how did I lower it and where did that seat come from? I pointed to my Pacific Coast Star hat and shared the web site address with them.

The ride was a combination of freeway speed runs and mountain twisties in 105 degree heat. My seat stayed cool and comfortable while the bike handled great! The long coast line cruise was awesome during a perfect sunset. What a way to experience a cool bike set up and a fun ride...

Readers; check out my bike picture on the lowering kits page! It's not hard to find. :~)

Guys; these are some good sites for sharing info and stuff. Join ABATE and help preserve our right to ride free and safe!

Your stuff is really great! Thanx...

Had Greg and Cary custom fit my seat because I was close enough to take it to them and they lowered my ride 2 1/4" for my while I waited. The best testimony I can give is 12K on the bike after the mods and not a sore butt to be found. I will be getting my Midnight Star next week and will have it lowered and the seat cut down ASAP. Wanted one of your seats and finally decided to try the "potato chip". It takes a while to get used to the ride (as good or better than stock), but I really like the look it gives the Classic. If you want the stock width, go with the "original". If you want a good feel and a great look, get the "chip". This one modification made the biggest difference in both the comfort and looks of my ride.

I shopped the entire market and found the PCS Original to be the best value and had lots of good testimonial feedbacks about the seat and the excellent service. I agree Cary and Greg are really interested in customer satisfaction. I was fortunate and had a great ride to their shop to get the seat. While there and recognizing these guys cared about me and answered my many questions, I bought a lowering kit also. Both the Original and the lowering kit make the bike a lot more balanced and after about 500 miles of riding, the seat is much better than the stock one. I expect it to get better as time passes. I am over 60 years old and really needed this to make my riding more enjoyable.
Cary and Greg thanks a million.
Sincerely, Turbodave

Anyone interested in lowering the RoadStar should look into the Pacific Coast Star lowering kit. Excellent quality; simple installation (and I'm no wrench -- but I'm starting to feel like one). Took about 75 minutes from start to finish. Definitely improved the ride and the look. Make sure you have a standard and a stubby 17mm wrench, a 17mm socket, and a universal joint adapter for that one hard to reach bolt at the bottom of the relay arm. Take my word for it (from someone who didn't want to grind a part to do the flip --which I know is free), the PCS lowering kit is worth the price. Works great with their Potato Chip seat. BTW, I don't work for 'em and I don't make any $$$ from 'em.

NO MORE GUMMI BEARS FOR ME! Just back from 1265 mile trip to Myrtle Beach, including a little jaunt into North Carolina. The potato chip is better than I had even hoped. NO tailbone pain! Feels good, looks good. It sits me a couple inches lower than stock, and with the rear lowering kit and 2" risers on the bars, I've got the perfect kinda laid-back driving position for me. The ONLY complaint I have is that it took almost a month to get the seat. You might want to ask how long it'll take when you are ordering it (I didn't) so you are not waiting impatiently. Plan ahead. I think you'll find it's worth the wait!!

Just got my Potato Chip, old seat UPSing it's way back to you. Love the new seat but I would caution any new owner of your seats that you will be sitting lower. Therefore it would be wise to SHORTEN THE CHAIN ON YOUR WALLET!!!

My wife hates the PCS original seat! Maybe that is because it is on my bike and makes me want ride ALOT more. With the PCS seat I look at fuel stops as a nuisance not a break for my derrier. My wife might hate it, but I LOVE it and my kid loves the comfort of the PCS pillion over the stock! Great job from a couple of great guys.

Cary, I want to personally thank you for the great pricing and working the delivery scheduling around my vacation. I came home from a long trip and **BAM** there was a nice package awaiting my arrival! You guys have a quality shop that is evident in the way you treat your customers. As some huge famous guy once said... "I'll be back!".

I tried out my "original" seat today for the first time. I rode 254 miles, and I have to say it is the best $80. I have spent on my bike. I butt didn't get numb and tingling sensation I normally get from the stock seat. One of my friends had to try it and he is ordering one tomorrow. Customer service was great. I even canceled one order for a bike I sold and they didn't fuss one bit. Great guys to work with

Finally got the chance to take a ride with the new potato chip seat on my Classic. What a difference! Love the way you feel a part of the bike instead of riding on top of it! Just a short ride but the seat felt really comfortable. Craftsmanship is top quality. Seat really looks good on the bike. Your prices are so reasonable too. Thanks for offering such a good seat for a great price.

I returned my stock seat the day I received the potato chip. I just knew I'd love it even before taking a ride.

Keep up the good work! I'd recommend the PCS seat to everyone.

PCS custom cut my V-Star seat and it is like riding a lazyboy recliner. I didn't like the stock seat on my new V-Max so I had PCS Custom cut the V-Max seat. Well, I just did 75 miles on my V-Max and it works great. Thanks.

Cary and Greg customized my seat to fit me better and support my back. As an Orthopedic Surgeon, I can recommend this seat shaping to ease the back. It is much more comfortable now due to improved ergonomics. That same night they lowered the back of my bike with their "special" kit. With the new seat and the lowered wheel, the bike definitely handles better. Seems there is more traction on turns due to lower center of gravity. This metric bike is looking more like an expensive Harley every time I go to Pacific Coast!!!!!

Well the wife has gotten some seat time on the passenger seat and she said there is a noticeable difference. A lot more comfortable on her butt and back. We have only done a few short rides, but she is much happier. Now we're both stylin' and happy on our PCS seats!

I, like many of the other testimonials, thank Cary and Greg. I drove up to their shop on an original Magna seat that would put my rear end to sleep in 40 miles or less. I left with the same seat modified to give me more space and deeper. I have more leg room and I actually sit farther away from the handlebars. Their dedication to make me (the customer) feel good was something I had not run into in quite some time. I am really happy that I did it.

I have just witnessed a "Butt Miracle." I installed your redesigned "original" seat, and spent 20 minutes just sitting on it--almost lounging in it. Then I rode it for over 1 painless hour. You guys are the Sultans of Seats. It's sad to think that so many people will pay so much money for "overpriced, over-hyped name-brand seats" when all they need is a PSC Original or Potato Chip seat. I'll do my best to make sure my Yamaha friends know about you.

Seriously, thanks so much for making my bike more fun, more comfortable and, I think, more safe to ride. The stock torture seat that came with my bike is limping its way back to you. Cary and Greg, thanks to both of you.

Total customer satisfaction! I would just like to extend a written thanks for the optimum quality "Potato Chip" seat. You were quite accurate when you described the new feel one would experience when riding on the "Potato Chip" seat. While riding I began to feel a oneness w/my putt, rather than having the same old feeling that I was riding on top of it. You guys are a team that most definitely work harmoniously w/each other. In addition, I find it extremely nice to have my 2001 Midnight Star lowered by you guys! Its like having a brand new bike. When both of my feet are on the ground my knees are even bent and that's quite new for a guy thats 5'7". I am extremely grateful for your assistance and I hope to continue to do business w/you in the future. You guys certainly contributed to me feeling right at home and confident with you working on my prized possession.

Hey guys, got my seat and I love it. This thing really fits me like a glove. The "Potato Chip" coupled with the lowering kit sat my bike down just the way I like it. You guys are great to do business with, I will be back. I recommend you guys to all of my Star riding friends. Thanks again.

Hey guys, just got home from your shop and wanted to say thanks again for the new ride. What a difference! Without a doubt the best bang for the buck I've ever seen. Thanks for allowing me to watch the potato chip conversion. You guys are indeed artists. I'll be in touch soon for the additional work we spoke of. If it's as high quality as the potato chip I'm sure I will be extremely pleased.

I sent my custom painted helmet for you to match the custom paint on my bike, and the results are in. The seat blends in with the bike and does not distract from it as the standard black did. It is awesome. The "potato chip" seat is also more comfortable, I'll even ride when it is in the 40's. It is that good. If anyone needs a seat I tell them there is only one place to get one. Your product is fantastic. Thanks again.

Cary and Greg you guys are GREAT! I wanted to spend the big bucks for one of the commercial seats out there but decided to give PCS's seat a work out so I had their "original" delivered prior to my June 2001 trip to Hot Springs AR for the ISRA Cruise In. Well I put 2,400 miles on that seat in a week and loved every mile, no more sore Butt! The seat set me back and "into" the bike and I actually feel a part of the bike instead of riding on it. I now average 300-500 mile days on the weekends that I am off and wish I had a larger tank at times. I would have never enjoyed my bike as much with out your exchange seat program. Thanks to PCS's seat I even was able to complete the IBA 1000 mile run in less than 22 hours with no discomfort! I now have put over 8,000 miles on the "Original" PCS exchange seat and still love it as much as I did the first time I laid my rear onto it. You guys are great and it was a pleasure doing business with you and I look forward to doing business with you again in the near future. Willy D

Cary and Greg have been awesome to deal with. I wanted a special leather seat for my bike that I was customizing. They worked with me to match the seat to paint, and gave me suggestions. The bike looks great, and they rush shipped it to me here in Florida in time for me to place 2nd in the Jacksonville custom bike show. Getting beaten in this show by a tailored custom built chopper, that didn't even have a speedo or tach. I have had a ton of compliments on the seat and I have referred several people to Pacific Coast Star, and will continue to refer. Thanks guys, the product is great and the customer service is even better.

Hey Cary,
I've got a potato chip stuck to my butt... and I LOVE IT!  I got my potato chip seat and the standard pillion for my 1100 custom and its great.  The look flows with the lines of the bike... it puts me in a lower, more comfortable and cooler looking riding position. Plus, the potato chip seat actually looks great with the standard pillion.    I've sent you back my

Great job,

I put the seat on last night, rode 100 miles after work today, and I am truly pleased with your product.  I thought perhaps you impregnated the seat with Novocain, because my butt didn't hurt at all.  Best money I've spent on the Bike.

Jim Gelhar

Just got your lowering kit in the mail 30 minutes ago and guess what? Its in already and it looks awesome!  Very easy to install, clear illustrated directions, and a ride that feels factory. Ground clearance for me is great. There aint nothin like the tire up in the fender, great job guys I am very satisfied and will recommend this product to anyone. thank you,

We had the "Original" job done on my stock RoadStar seats and are very happy with the results. Went for a long test ride and my wife and I both could tell that the comfort level of our seats had improved greatly. Great service from Cary and Greg at Pacific Coast Star!

Last Saturday and Sunday Tracy and I logged in over 700 mile on "Tuff" (my 1100 classic V-Star), now I know this isn't alot compared to some of the Wing Riders but it is alot on a Cruiser or at least alot to me. Before I had my seat and pillion reworked by Pacific Coast Star that much riding would have my lower back and shoulders hurting all the next week but with the reworked seats we took the trip just great, Tracy and myself would like to thank PCS for a GREAT PAIR of SEATS.

I do not give testimonials often, but Cary and Greg deserve accolades and praise for the customer service and great V* products. I’d have to say the seat upgrade was the best money spent on my bike and bottom. I can now ride all day long, while beforehand I only could spend an hour on the stock saddle! Not to mention it really looks great (potato chip), many observers comment on the seat. I also got the AIS kit from Pacific Coast Star, which help stop the annoying popping and backfires. My Cobra’s now have a better sound if that is possible. I’ll soon to add the lowering kit; I know I’ll be happy with the lowing kit, as I’ve been with all the products they offer. Keep up the great work guys, you deserve all the good fortune for all the great customer service and advise you have offered me this year

Sincerely,

I have to start off with a big thanks to Cary and Greg, they are two great guys. There workmanship is nothing but the best. You wouldn't believe the difference a seat could make. I have a little over 2,000 miles on this seat(orignal exchange). I can ride a lot longer with no pain in my lower back or butt. With this seat, I know I will be taking longer trips.

Thanks again,

Don

Hi Cary, Well I finally got the new seat installed between rain showers and got a sunny 88 degree day today to try it out. It's just what I've wanted, as a return again rider after a long layoff I feel much more comfortable on the bike now. The new seat sits slightly lower and I feel part of the bike rather then sitting on the bike and I'm much more comfortable. You guys are professionals and it's been a pleasure doing business with you.

I had tried other seats. Saw a post about Cary on ISRA and figured I'd give it a shot. Overnighted my seat to Cary (long story.....remember Cary?!) and he sent me back MY seat a few days later. All I can say is WOW!!!! I am no longer aching after a few miles on the road!!! The best $75 I spent on my bike yet!!!!! Thanks guys!!!!
